GPS navigation and interesting locations on Android*
skobbler is now available for Android* - the first version of skobbler will be running on all Android devices running Android 1.6 and higher.
That's how you will be on the right track as pedestrian or driver especially on short routes. skobbler does not just turn your Android device into a mobile navigation device with audio advices. Using the skobbler local search, you will also be able to find the suitable location in you vicinity for doing exactly what you wish to do as you have the ratings and descriptions of the skobbler community on board.

GPS car navigation
skobbler turns you mobile phone into a mobile navigation device. skobbler's navigation solution features both audio advices and visual turn advices (so-called turn-by-turn navigation) like the 'big' navigation players. skobbler also display speed warnings where available. You can find additional functionalities in the feature list above.
GPS pedestrian navigation
You don't get lost with skobbler. The pedestrian navigation provides you with a significantly more comfortable way of orientation than regular city maps. It follows a simple yet effective approach. One arrow always points into the direction you are heading, while another arrow points into the direction of you destination. Your strolls around the city will become even more relaxed.
Local search
The local search offers you the possibility to find what you are looking for at the push of a button. You can enter individual keywords and specify, in which radius you prefer to search. The knowledge of the skobbler community is always just one click away.
Rated search results
You will receive a list of rated results when conducting a local search. It enables you to easily scan the search results for those that suit your needs best. The list can be sorted using different criteria.
Detailed location information
You can have a detailed look at many locations. Bad surprises will become a thing of the past.
